Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) in Cranleigh, Surrey
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, sometimes referred to as a Vampire or Dracula facial, involves taking a sample of your own blood (usually from your arm) and separating it in a machine called a centrifuge. The separated plasma which is the therapeutic serum we use, contains platelets and growth factors which stimulate skin regeneration and repair when injected back into your own skin.
Not only does PRP stimulate collagen, elastin and cellular growth, it improves skin hydration, texture and tone resulting in fresher younger looking skin.
PRP can also be combined with microneedling, where both procedures complement and enhance each other.
